^my first attempt
I realised it looked pretty amateur and unsophisticated. so with a bit more practice and trying things out in the programme, i gave it another go...
This is what i have come up with.

^home page

^purpose outline

^audience outline

^content outline

^requirement outline
I tried to keep it simple yet effective. I want to make the vertical line extend to the same height as the text in the outline pages, other than that i am happy. On the contents page you scroll down to show more links to pages displaying some images of the work i plan to include in my portfolio.
I really like the central line, it makes your eye follow the text along really well. Grabs attention. Not sure if scroll is the best option? Very niiice
ReplyDeletei am fond of the line also, and I like that you have scaled your name so big -very effective!
ReplyDeleteif you apply the border to the lefthand side of the id applied to the content/text div (rather than to the righthand side of the title div) it should extend to be the height of the text/content always, even when this changes.

thanks guys! harry u r so right, i didn't think of that, thanks :)
ReplyDeletehey all, don't forget your moodboards should give a sense of the mood of your overall site presentation/design, rather than the content (although obviously it should enhance the content, and elements of the content should be employed in your moodboards). i.e. if you are intending your site design to be clean and minimal, your moodboard should communicate this. g
ReplyDeleteps. last comment (490) was me...
